Luton by Car - Directions

  • London Luton Airport is easily accessible from all over the country and located close to the M1 and M25, only 32 miles from Central London.
  • From the East take the A505 dual carriageway which goes through Hitchin. The airport lies just off the A505 and is clearly signposted.
  • From the M25 exit at Junction 21 for access to the M1. From the M1 the airport is only 2 miles away. Exit and junction 10 and follow signs.
  • From the West, if approaching via Dunstable, follow the airport signs. Alternatively, travel via the M40/ M25 to join the M1 and then exit via Junction 10.

Drop offs/Pick ups at Luton Airport

The closest drop off at Luton airport charges £5.00 for up to 10 minutes and then £1 for every minute after that. Cars must not be left unattended.

But the second closest car park is the Mid Term car park. It offers free drop off and pick up for the first fifteen minutes and it's £4.00 for 30 minutes.

But if you don't mind parking a little further away, then you could use their long stay car park. It is completely free of charge for up to 1 hour and then the price goes to £5 for 2 hours. You can use their free shuttle bus to travel from their car park to the airport.
